Working of Handle 2 Piece Design Ball Valve

The ball, housed between two bolted body halves, rotates 90 degrees on the stem when the handle is turned. In the open position, the ball’s bore aligns with the pipe, allowing unrestricted flow. Turning the handle a quarter-turn rotates the ball so its solid surface blocks the flow path completely. The two-piece body can be separated for maintenance, giving easy access to the ball, seats, and seals without removing the valve from the pipeline.
