A 3 Piece Ball Valve Flanged End is a flow control valve with a three-part body and flanged connections, designed as a floating ball, full port or reduced port valve that can quickly be fitted with a pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic drive — even while operating. Available in materials like SS, CS, Gun Metal, Aluminum, and Hastelloy, built to ASA 150#/300# ratings for sizes 12 NB to 200 NB. Suited for process industries, chemical plants, oil & gas, and water treatment where flanged, easily-serviceable ball valves are needed, with flexibility to retrofit actuators without disturbing the pipeline.
The ball, housed in the center body section, rotates 90 degrees on the stem to control flow. When open, the ball’s bore aligns with the flanged ends for unrestricted flow. To close, the lever, gear, or actuator rotates the ball a quarter-turn, blocking flow with its solid surface. As a floating ball design, it shifts slightly under line pressure to press firmly against the downstream seat for a tight seal. The three-piece body lets the center section be removed for maintenance while flanges stay bolted to the pipeline.
