Working of 2 Piece Design Ball Valve

The valve’s ball, housed between two bolted body halves, rotates 90 degrees on the stem to control flow. In the open position, the ball’s bore aligns with the pipe, allowing unrestricted flow. To close, the lever rotates the stem and ball a quarter-turn, blocking the flow path with the ball’s solid surface. The two-piece body can be separated for maintenance, giving easy access to the ball, seats, and seals without removing the valve from the pipeline.
