Working of 3 Piece Handle Ball Valve

The ball, housed in the center body section, rotates 90 degrees on the stem when the handle is turned. In the open position, the ball’s bore aligns with the pipe, allowing unrestricted flow. Turning the handle a quarter-turn rotates the ball so its solid surface blocks the flow path completely. The three-piece body allows the center section to be unbolted for maintenance, giving access to the ball, seats, and seals without disturbing pipeline connections.
