Working of Single Piece Ball Valve

The valve’s ball, positioned inside the single-piece body, rotates 90 degrees on the stem to control flow. In the open position, the ball’s bore aligns with the pipe, allowing unrestricted flow. To close, the stem rotates the ball a quarter-turn, so its solid surface blocks the flow path completely. The PTFE or Teflon seat provides a tight seal against the ball, ensuring reliable shut-off with minimal operating torque.
