Working of POT Type Strainer

Process fluid enters the strainer body and passes through the perforated or mesh screen housed inside the pot-shaped chamber. As fluid flows through, solid particles, debris, and scale are captured on the screen surface, while clean, filtered fluid continues downstream through the outlet. The large internal volume of the pot design provides significant surface area and dirt-holding capacity, reducing maintenance frequency. The cover can be opened periodically to remove and clean the screen, ensuring continued filtration efficiency.
