Process fluid flows through one basket at a time inside the duplex body, while a diverter valve directs flow between the two chambers. As fluid passes through the basket-shaped screen, solids and debris are trapped inside while filtered fluid continues downstream. When the active basket needs cleaning, the diverter valve redirects flow to the second basket, allowing the first to be opened from the top, cleaned or replaced, and returned to service — all without interrupting the process.
