Ideal for extreme high-pressure piping in oil & gas, petrochemical, and power generation applications where ANSI Class 1500# or 2500# ratings are required for critical process safety.
The valve’s wedge moves vertically within the forged body to control flow, driven by the handwheel or motorized actuator rotating the stem. When open, the wedge lifts fully clear for unrestricted flow. To close, the stem lowers the wedge until it seats firmly against the seat ring, blocking flow completely. Gland packing seals the stem against leakage, ensuring dependable shut-off even at the valve’s extreme rated pressures.
