Working of Wafer Check Valve

As fluid flows forward through the valve, the disc pivots open on its hinge pin, allowing unrestricted passage between the pipeline flanges. If flow reverses or stops, the disc swings back and seals against the valve seat, using the O-ring for a tight, leak-proof closure. Because the valve is sandwiched between pipeline flanges using through-bolts, it stays securely positioned while remaining lightweight and easy to install.
