Working of Y Type Strainer Screw End

Process fluid enters the strainer through the angled inlet and passes through the perforated or mesh screen housed inside the Y-shaped chamber. As fluid flows through, solid particles and debris are captured on the screen surface, while clean, filtered fluid continues downstream through the outlet. The angled body design minimizes pressure drop, and the screen can be periodically removed and cleaned by opening the end cap, keeping the strainer running efficiently.
