Working of Single Sight Glass

The Single Sight Glass is installed in-line within the pipeline via its flanged connections, with the borosilicate glass window sealed against the body using PTFE packing. As process fluid flows through the fitting, operators can visually observe flow rate, color, clarity, or the presence of bubbles and contaminants directly through the glass, without needing to interrupt flow or open the pipeline for inspection.
