Manufactured to BS 1868 and tested to BS 6755, built with body and cover options in Cast Iron, Cast Steel, SS 304/316/304L/316L, WC6, or WC9. Available in sizes 25mm to 600mm. Working of Swing Check Valve

As fluid flows forward through the valve, pressure pushes the hinged disc open, allowing unrestricted passage downstream. If flow reverses or stops, the disc swings back on its hinge pin under gravity and backpressure, sealing firmly against the seat ring to block reverse flow. This self-actuating swing motion requires no external power or manual operation, making it a reliable, low-maintenance solution for preventing backflow.
